A word from Veronica

As a PSW, I have worked in hospitals and provided private in home care for individuals. I am credible to do this business because I have the knowledge and experience. People find me trustworthy and reliable. I have a great deal of compassion towards people, especially Senior Citizens. Knowing the limitations sometimes set upon the elderly, providing them with a place to go and being able to meet with other people and join in activities will help to keep their spirits up. There is a great need for this type of service within our communities, as many of our elderly citizens are home bound. This results from loss of loved ones, the inability to drive (some are without driver's license due to medical reasons), restrictions in getting around, just to name a few obstacles that they may be facing. Providing this type of service enables these individuals to get out, meet and circulate with others in the same situations and in their peer group.

I have been involved with the elderly and have volunteered for various projects revolving around them. Some of this volunteer work has been at nursing homes, singing for the elderly, demonstrating to the elderly an effective alarm system that if they are in trouble (falls down, short of breath, etc.) that they can call for help. I have gained this insight after caring for my grandmother.
